"Your
path seems as clear as light - shining even, so
clear does it appear
that you are where he wishes for you and where his
special graces await you."

‘God’s
will in your regard
will be your polar star.
View it calmly and steadily.’
[Margaret Aylward] |
God
of all creation and God of my life,
give me the courage to follow
the guidance of my polar star
which is your will for my life.
|
| Grant
me the desire and the courage to respond
with great generosity and love to Christ’s
call in my life. |
Deepen
my appreciation
of the gift of faith.
Open my ears to hear
the crying needs of our people
and planet. |
Drawn
by the shining light of
Margaret Aylward’s faith,
courage and compassion and empowered
by your Holy Spirit,
may I bear witness in
my living and relating
to the love and truth of Jesus
in our day. Amen |

Year of Vocation for All |
| 13
April 2008 - 3rd May 2009 |
|
|
| |
This
year of vocation, being celebrated
by the Irish Church from Vocation
Sunday 13th April 2008 to Vocation
Sunday 3rd May 2009, will be a time
in the Church for all to recall that
through baptism everyone is called
to follow Christ and that we do this
in many ways. |
|
| |
 |
On
Vocations Sunday, a new dedicated
website is being launched which will
carry details of events during the
year. Its address is:
www.yourvocation.ie |
|
| |
If
necessary, we will also list events
on our "Coming Up" pages.
You will also find valuable information
on vocations and discerning your call
in life on either of the other Irish
