This is the main Holy Faith website, which was established in 2003. This site, as well as giving news from Ireland, also gives news of our Sisters and Associates in Trinidad, Unites States and New Zealand/Australia. It also carries each month extracts from our Irish Regional Newsletter.

This website also has links to other Holy Faith sites here and abroad and to other sites of Christian interest.

Light a Candle: www. www.gratefulness.org/candles/

Gratefulness.org, established by Brother David Steindl-Rast, an American Benedictine, invites us to light a cyber-candle. Almost 5 million candles have been lit from 242 countries since Light a Candle was set up in 2001.

A wonderful facility is that any group can create its own personalised Light a Candle entrance page. Clicking on the link brings you into our Holy Faith Network Group where you are invited to light a candle of blessing or thanksgiving for yourselves or others. We hope that Light a Candle will create many links of prayer worldwide with all who have Holy Faith connections.

You may like also to visit the main site www.gratefulness.org, which has some lovely prayer features.

Both these websites give information about a variety of vocations in the Catholic Church, including priesthood, diaconate, religious life, missionary life, and lay movements. They give guidelines for discerning God's plan for your life and provide a variety of prayers also. In addition Vocations Ireland provides a directory of all the religious orders in Ireland.

Both sites will carry information on the upcoming Year of Vocation beginning on Vocations Sunday in April also.
